A Day At The Beach

 My kids don't go to the beach all that often, probably because their mother fries to a crisp within ten minutes if she's not careful. Fortunately, Daddy takes them every now and then to remind them that we live near this beautiful water.

Time to Get A Haircut!

  Michael has been cutting my hair for over twenty years now. When Olivia was born, she would go to the hair salon with me and just hang out in her carseat, taking it all in. Now that she's old enough to get her own hair cut, of course no one else will do but Michael. She loves going to the salon and getting to sit in the "big girl" chair. One of the salon ladies came by with a handful of tiny cups for Cuban coffee, carefully pouring out the little black shots of pure adrenaline for the patrons. She asked Lamar and Michael if they wanted any and Olivia said "oh yes, of course!" Nice try, Olivia, but you already climb the walls. Stick to the water in a paper cup.
